Imagine you are a young mom or dad and you go to the mall to drink a coffee. Your mind is on your 3 year old child that runs like the devil around. Suddenly in a blink of an eye, your kid is no longer at your sight. You panicking.
Thankfully you find your kid looking at the aquarium but next time you put a wearable beacon on it and if the kid goes more than 5-10 meters away your phone is ringing like crazy and you are alerted to take actions.
